Sharks centre sidelined for six weeks

Jeremy Ward is one of three players that have been ruled out the Sharks' trip to Singapore, where they will face the Sunwolves.

Ward suffered a broken nose in the Sharks' 35-32 loss to the Kings last weekend, and will be out of action for at least six weeks.

Additionally, Pat Lambie (concussion) and Rhyno Smith (pectoral muscle tear) will also sit out the trip to Singapore, but the extent of their injuries is yet to be determined.

Meanwhile, prop Coenie Oosthuizen is the fourth player unavailable for selection this week, as he has been rested in line with the Springbok player management protocol.
