SARugbymag.co.za readers have had their say and would like to see Manie Libbok given a first Test start against England after his bright cameos for the Springboks as a substitute.
Libbok is in the running to make his first start for the Springboks and his prospects could be enhanced by a training ground knock to Damian de Allende. In a poll run by SARugbymag.co.za, an overwhelming 83% of fans wanted the DHL Stormers playmaker to be given the No 10 jersey and the goalkicking responsibilities at Twickenham.
Jasper Wiese’s absence means that the No 8 jersey is up for grabs between Kwagga Smith and Evan Roos, with 67% wanting the latter to get a run, while the former continues in his role with the Bomb Squad.
71% of fans wanted the midfield to comprise of Damian Willemse at 12 and De Allende at 13, where he played against Italy.
The Springboks made a surprise decision to call up the fit-again Canan Moodie, but fans were split over whether to unleash the Vodacom Bulls youngster, with 59% opting for Makazole Mapimpi to retake his place on the left wing instead.
